GEMS Recruit respects the privacy of its clients, job seekers and visitors to its website. Personal data is collected by GEMS Recruit for the purpose of supporting the operations, providing recruitment services and placing of individuals for potential work assignments. All collection, use, disclosure, or processing of data is undertaken in compliance with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). Personal data may be used by GEMS Recruit before, during or after an individual’s placement with our clients for the purpose of establishing, managing or terminating of an employment relationship.
How is personal data collected by GEMS Recruit?
Personal data may be collected using a number of different methods including the application process, through interactions with staff (whether by telephone, email or face-to-face meetings), job portals, and in the course of providing recruitment services to clients.
Why is personal data collected and how is it used by GEMS Recruit?
Personal data is collected for evaluative purposes including to determine the suitability, eligibility or qualifications of an individual for employment. GEMS Recruit also retains your personal data for a reasonable period for the purpose of prospective job placement.

Why is personal data disclosed by GEMS Recruit?
Personal data may be disclosed to our clients for the same purposes for which it is collected. Personal data may be disclosed to evaluate the suitability, eligibility or qualifications of an individual for job placement.
Cookies and similar technologies on our website allow our third-party vendors to track your browsing behavior, links clicked, your device type and collect various data, including analytics, about how you use and interact with our website. This allows us to provide you with more relevant service offerings, a better experience on our website and to collect, analyze and improve the performance of our website. We may also collect your location (IP address) for our statistics.
Supplemented Data may be received about you from other sources, including social media websites and search engines.
Data about Usage of Services is automatically collected when you use our website, including metadata, log files, and location information. We use multiple web analytics tools to provided by service partners such as Google Analytics and Incapsula to collect information about how you interact with our website, including what pages you visit, what site you visited prior to visiting our website, how much time you spend on each page, what operating system and web browser you use and network and IP information. We use the information provided by these tools to improve our website and statistics. These tools place persistent cookies in your browser to identify you as a unique user that next time you visit our website. Each cookie cannot be used by anyone other than the service providers. The information collected from the cookie maybe transmitted to and stored by these services partners on servers in a country other than the country in which you reside. Though information collected does not include your personal data, the information collected is used and shared by these service providers with their individual privacy policies.
Children’s Privacy. Our website does not address anyone under the age of 13 (“Children”). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we take steps to remove that personal data from our database.
